I visited Austins with a large group of individuals from my wife’s work. We were certainly a big top, and that there were about 15 of us who shared the table. Our server was exceptional. Given the large quantity of orders, and having different people deliver the food to the table besides him I could not have been more impressed. There was one minor error that was quickly fixed, but, wow! Great service and exceptional food. I’m glad to recommend this place.
The chicken fried chicken was very good - the chicken was tender and the breading was crispy and delicious. I swapped the corn for fresh green beans with bacon. The garlic mashed potatoes and gravy complimented the chicken. The servers were around several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was lively, but it was loud.
Good burger. Monday half price. I had the fries remade but the service was excellent. Great way to end the evening! I’ll be back. The place is packed on Monday night expect to wait 30-45 min at dinner time. Well worth it!
The happy hour here is amazing! What a great friendly and fast staff. We ordered the fried pickles, and wonton tacos, pot stickers and quesadillas from the happy hour menu. We also added the burger of burgers. The drinks were a tequila cranberry and a double knob creek. It was pretty busy but not too crowded. Overall a win for prices, vibes and service.
Food took a bit but overall really good food. Queso was good but a little thick. My dad was a fan of their Kansas City strip streak, and I enjoyed the cowboy burger. They got some really thick patties so I think single patty is plenty, but they have a monster double patty if that’s your thing. Parmesan fries were delicious, and I always give brownie points for restaurants that offer coronas.
Had a great time at Austin’s Bar and Grill! The atmosphere was fun and inviting, and the service was excellent. We did have a slight hiccup during our visit, but the manager came out and handled it with the utmost professionalism and kindness, which we truly appreciated. Our waitress was also very kind and attentive throughout our meal. The food was fantastic—our appetizer nachos were huge and packed with flavor! My kid had the Mushroom/Swiss Burger and absolutely loved it.
We stopped in on a Wednesday around 130 in the afternoon. There were people there but it was not crowded. We had the potato skins and the fried pickles for appetizers they were really good. The buffalo chicken wrap here is great, the nachos are really good but they use paper thin tortilla chips that break when you try to scoop with them. We will go back again.
I compare all burgers to this hometown favorite bar. I've been going here for the last eight years of my life and even though I've moved away to Michigan, I come back at least every year to eat here. Burgers are flavorful and have a great char. Tank 7 is on tap. Also love the Buffalo chicken wrap and the chicken bites app with Thai sauce. Lots of TVs to watch the Chiefs!!!
